• Lakes of Taylor and Fieldstone return to the Championship Series one day events, with Twin Lakes, Dunham Hills, and Blackheath (Senior and Net only) rounding out the Series.  Also new in 2012 is the ability to sign up for individual tournaments, additional gift certificate opportunites for larger division fields, and Honor Roll points for the Top 3 Championship Series Season finishers 
• The Michigan Medal Play (Lee Gohs Classic Trophy) is moving to Pheasant Run, retaining the same Memorial Day weekend schedule.   In addition, the entry fee now including carts and range balls.
• The State Match Play returns to the Metropolitan Detroit area, being contested at Twin Lakes and Blackheath in the traditional late July time period
