Michigan Publinx State Match Play Championship

July 28-31, 2017

Twin Lakes Golf Club will host the 2017 Michigan Publinx State Match Play Championship.

The Championship Division will be limited to 96 players and the Senior Division is 48 and Super Senior Division to 16 players. The championship is open to all male Public or Private Course golfers 18 years old or older by start of tournament to compete in the Championship Division, 50 years old or older by July 15 to compete in the Senior Division, and 65 years old or older to complete in the Super Senior Division. Contestants in the Championship Division are eligible for Atlas Cup Trophy Points, as well as GAM Honor Roll Points. The winners of the Championship and Senior Divisions are also eligible to compete in the Tournament of Champions held later in the year.

Our Volunteer Program is always looking for assistance. If you can spare some time during tournament Week, please let us know by checking the Volunteer Yes box on the application. We are working hard to bring you an outstanding championship again. We look forward to seeing you at Twin Lakes.  Please tell a friend. As you know, there is nothing like it.

The State Match Play Championship is one of the oldest continuous amateur championships conducted in the state. A 18hole qualifier places contestants into flights of 64, 32 or 16 based on score. Each player then competes in single elimination individual matches. The champions of each flight can play as many as six matches. The tournament is held in July each year.
